This development is accessed from the north via a county maintained black-top road (shown above) which ends at our development. From there you are greeted by 2 - 50 foot long fieldstone walls and an archway marking the entrance to our subdivision.
As you drive into the development, you will have lakefront sites on both sides of the road. As mentioned previously, there is a natural building ridge that runs along the shoreline of both lakes (see contour map above). Most of the homes sit atop this natural ridge and the builders have taken advantage of it by building homes with walk-out basements.
You may also note that there are no off water building sites in the sub. All of the sites have direct frontage on one of the two lakes. Despite this the sub shares a common sand beach at the base of the larger peninsula. This naturally occurring beach had been used for many years by trespassers trying to gain access to this lake. Since it was existing, it was converted to a common beach mainly for the benefit of the owners on the smaller lake.
Across the peninsulas form the beach are 4 temporary boat docks which can be utilized by the 8 owners on the smaller lake. Those owners have the ability to keep 1 boat on the larger lake as well as a boat on the smaller lake next to their home. The smaller lake is also a common area for the benefit of all the property owners and is a non-motorized lake.
Each of the sites within the development was chosen prior to the lot lines being run. In other words, each site was hand picked to give it the best possible building site taking into consideration the natural contours of the land. You must take a tour of this development to truly appreciate it so call today to schedule a tour.
